The re-roofing process
Before we recommend a roofing option, we’ll evaluate your entire home and building envelope, taking into account issues such as ventilation, vapour barriers, attic insulation, dew point and roof deck condition. Your new roof may be as simple as installing new shingles or as comprehensive as adding additional layers of insulation or power ventilation systems to ensure your roof accommodates the needs of your home or commercial building.
After agreeing on the roof replacement evaluation, we will proceed to developing a comprehensive safety plan that protects you the owner and our employees. One that meets the most stringent requirements of Work Safe BC.
Once the safety plan has been established we then derive a course of action for completing the work as described in your quote. We start by protecting your property. This may be as simple as setting up a tarp or as complex as erecting scaffold and staging.
The actual process of ever individual project is unique and has its own challenges. Your quotation will explain in a step by step manor the process for your project and the materials that will be used.
Re-roofing is obviously a heavy project and the disruption to the customer can be somewhat significant. We are extremely focused on how the home is left at the end of each workday and special attention is made to leave the property cleaner than when we arrived.
Finally, a magnetic rack is used as the last step to finish each and every project, with thorough debris clean up.
